Colledge College Admissions Consulting Decision Time Blog
What to do while waiting, and what to do once you’ve gotten in

This time of year is the weird part of the college admissions cycle—after a flurry of effort in the fall, all the applications are in, some students have gotten in, but many are still waiting.

So what’s a student supposed to do in this weird moment?  What should a student who’s still waiting to hear be doing?  And how about students who’ve been accepted to the college of their choice—what should they be up to?

On Thursday, March 10, we’re going to try to answer those questions with help from Marcela Mejia-Martinez, who started as a first-generation college student, rose through the ranks of the admissions office at Loyola Marymount University, and now oversees the undergraduate admissions process at Chapman University as its Assistant Vice President of Admission.

At Colledge, we exist to help students and families find their way through the college admissions process.  And during the application year, it all starts with finding the best right-fit colleges for your student.  If you’re not sure if your child’s college list is resonating with who they are, let’s talk.  Our team can help you sort out these best fit colleges for their list, and set them on a path to success.  To learn more, click HERE to schedule a free introductory call.
