Checking in on the present and future of college admissions testing
As the COVID crisis lingers, so do its effects on college admissions—especially when it comes to testing. As schools have gone “test optional,” “test free,” and “test flexible,” students have scrambled to keep up with the shifting role of tests in getting into college.
At Colledge, we’ve been focused on what these shifts mean for students, and we’ll talk you through it all in our next LIVE with Colledge session on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 6 p.m.
Leading the conversation will be Colledge’s Admissions Manager, Tim Kent, and Compass Education Group’s Managing Director, Torsten Sannar. They’ll talk about how holistic admissions is working, how testing remains relevant despite the changes wrought by the pandemic, and why it’s important to develop a test plan in 10th and 11th grade. And most importantly, they’ll walk you through the factors students and families need to consider to make an informed decision about whether to test or not.
Figuring out how tests fit into admissions decisions these days is hard for college professionals, so this session is critical for families facing those decisions. Click HERE to sign up.
