Standardized testing–and how it impacts you
Students and families understandably have questions about what will happen with testing over the next few years, and what the implications are for college admissions outcomes. Our next LIVE with Colledge broadcast on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 6 p.m. will speak to these very concerns.
Join us for expert advice and prognostication from our Admissions Manager, James Hayashi, who has over a decade of experience both as an SAT tutor and test-prep curriculum developer. Specifically, James will
- unpack how and why different colleges use standardized test scores as part of holistic admission review;
- provide expert counseling about when (and when not) to submit scores to test-optional colleges; AND
- give away our Colledge test-prep timeline designed to set students up for admissions success.
During the worst of the COVID crisis, ACT and SAT testing sites closed, and out of necessity, colleges stopped requiring test scores for their applicants. But some universities have begun shifting back to “test preferred” or even “test required”—and more schools could follow suit.
This session offers invaluable insights to students in high school and their families, especially to sophomores and juniors. To learn more about the current and future state of testing—and to walk away with actionable advice about making test prep decisions—click HERE and sign up.
