What Families can do Now to Make Admissions Easy Later
As the fall gives way to winter and seniors submit their college applications, ‘tis the season for juniors to get ahead of the college admissions game. Our final Colledge Talk of the year, The Junior Year Jumpstart—coming up on November 28, 2021—is designed to demystify the college admissions process for students approaching their senior year, and to give clear guidance on what can and should be done between now and next fall.
Let’s not mince words—the 12 months between now and next fall is crunch time for juniors who are serious about college. The fall of senior year is not the time to start. There’s are schools to research, college lists to be developed and honed, summer plans to make, essays to write, and college visits (virtual and otherwise) to plan. Getting started now can be the difference between a smooth, stress-free college admissions process and a mad dash to the finish at the start of an already busy senior year.
So take this as a public service announcement—Colledge is here to help as many juniors (and parents of juniors) as possible to ensure that families make the very best use of the next year.
Among the topics to be covered in our Colledge Talk:
- Test-Optional Schools & Test Planning
- Summer Programming
- College Connections
