Sung Ahn
Application Specialist
Sung Ahn has over a decade of experience working with high school students applying to colleges and universities, including six years in undergraduate admissions for the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
A native of Southern California, Sung attended Indiana University, graduating with a degree in Economics but also gaining so much more by eschewing In-N-Out and the beaches of his native of Southern California.
Sung found his calling counseling high school students, beginning with international students from China who were looking to attend college in the US, and continuing to working in undergraduate admissions. He is the current Treasurer for the Regional Admission Counselors of California (RACC), and is a regular speaker at the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) conferences, particularly in the topic of honors colleges at public universities.
An MBA graduate from Arizona State University’s W.P Carey School of Business, Sung’s desire to help high school students is driven from the impactful relationship he had with his high school counselor, who championed his accomplishments and helped him find his voice. He is committed to connecting with students in the same way.
