Tina M. Nguyen has worked in higher education for six years. Born and raised in sunny southern California, she moved up north to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley. She started her higher education profession in admission with USC’s Office of Undergraduate Admission as a Senior Assistant Director where she worked with both freshmen and transfer students through the complex admission process. She completed her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from USC Rossier during her time in admission and later transitioned into her current role as an Academic Advisor at USC Marshall. In her free time, you can always find her immersed in the beauty of nature, exploring and hiking through national parks, and trying new food spots. Go bears, but fight on (forever)!

Sarah Park is a dynamic leader with over two decades of experience dedicated to fostering student success and career development. Her rich professional journey includes impactful roles at esteemed institutions such as Caltech, UCLA, Mount Saint Mary’s University- Los Angeles, Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, University of Wisconsin- Parkside, and The University of Georgia.

Sarah’s expertise extends beyond direct student engagement; she has played a crucial role in employer relations and recruiting, staying abreast of the latest trends in the field. With a Master’s in Student Development from The University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College, Sarah combines her academic foundation with certifications in Gallup Strengths Coaching, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, and Prosci® Leading Your Team Through Change to help her students identify their strengths, passions and path.

As more than just a career coach, Sarah is a dedicated student success advocate. Her focus on inclusivity and diversity shines through as she guides students not only toward their initial career opportunities but also equips them with skills for their entire professional journey. Sarah Park brings a wealth of experience to empower students and ensure their success in a rapidly evolving job market.
