Kelsey Torosyan

Kelsey combines her experience from 15 years as an educator with her expertise gained as a test-prep tutor, admissions reader at one of the most highly selective colleges in Pasadena, and through serving Colledge students for almost a decade. Today, Kelsey applies proven tenets of working one-on-one with high school students to develop their organizational and understanding skills – skills critical to their future academic and career ambitions.

As Director of Client Services, Kelsey ensures that each student is seen as an individual, and supports them in selecting programs, majors, and colleges that best align with their dreams, goals, and abilities. She is an equally valued partner for parents, many of whom are also navigating the realities of a very complex and high-stakes decision. Kelsey not only keeps students moving towards their end goals but makes them and their parents feel secure and heard throughout the process.

Believing that everyone deserves to be seen and valued for exactly who they are at any moment along their path, Kelsey was drawn to Colledge. Colledge embraces what she believes — that the way to create a more level college admissions playing field is to help students make informed choices, properly prepare for the admissions process, and be able to represent their best selves to the best schools for them.

For Kelsey, leading Colledge teams, counseling students, and advising parents is purpose-driven work – very much a calling. She is an exceptional partner to parents, factoring in their insight into their child and their aspirations for their future. Affectionately known as the “The Admissions Whisperer” by colleagues and parents, Kelsey’s engagement style is an amazing combination of empathy, inspiration, playfulness, and accountability. Kids trust her. They reveal much of their true selves and, in doing so, gain confidence and focus on what is often an intense, emotionally overwhelming challenge.
