Harvey Mudd College | How STEM Admissions Works

LIVE with Colledge | Harvey Mudd

Back in 2001, the National Science Foundation coined the acronym STEM to capture the key disciplines—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—that the nation’s knowledge-based economy needs to succeed.  Nearly 20 years later, STEM is now a full-blown focus for colleges, and the focus of Colledge’s next LIVE session.

Harvey Mudd is among the nation’s leading colleges in STEM disciplines.  It is one of the seven Claremont Colleges, and it counts MIT and Caltech as its competition.  Peter Osgood has been a stalwart at Harvey Mudd for over 20 years, and recently received the college’s Henry T. Mudd Prize for extraordinary service.  He’s an absolute expert in all things STEM-related when it comes to college admissions.  He’ll be giving us an inside look at Harvey Mudd Admissions, and offering some key insights into how COVID is changing the admissions game.

Our free LIVE Session “LIVE with Harvey Mudd College | How STEM Admissions Works” will take place this Thurs, October 1st, at 6pm.

At Colledge, we’ve guided many STEM students through the admissions process.  We’ve worked at Caltech and reviewed hundreds of applications from STEM-focused students.  But we’ve also worked in liberal arts and performing arts admissions, and spent time studying and visiting schools across the country.  To discuss how we might work with your child on STEM-related applications or just about any other kind of college application, click HERE and we’ll work with you to set up a brief phone consultation.
