Colledge Talk | Coronavirus and the College Visit

Getting Educated about Colleges

Pandemic or not, college visiting season is upon us, and there is a method to the visit madness. Colledge’s own Jenny Umhofer and Kelsey Torosyan will share their wisdom and expertise on sorting out the college visit during the next free Colledge Talk on Sunday, March 21, at 6 p.m.  (Like most things these days, it’s on Zoom.)

For the last several years, we’ve amassed a wealth of information on college visits by personally visiting more than two dozen colleges per year. And although in person college visits have declined dramatically during the pandemic, most colleges have adjusted to the coronavirus shutdown with online visits and virtual experiences.

We’ll talk about how to approach both online and in-person visits in order to learn what you need to know to make smart decisions about where to apply. We’ll also discuss key information you need for your application and how to make your college research work for you. And we’ll be giving you five key questions to ask at any college visit—in person or virtual. Sign up for this free session HERE.

The college visit is just one of the many parts of the college admissions journey that help families navigate their way through the process, and we’re available to work with you and your student, no matter where you are on the road to college.
